Our 2025 plan updates are aimed at making care more accessible and affordable, helping members see the true value in their plan. Let’s take a look at what’s new for 2025:
- Update! Open Enrollment Start Date
Open enrollment for new enrollments starts on November 1 this year on and off exchange. Existing members can make plan changes and update eligibility starting November 16.
- Reminder! Vitalize℠
Introduced in 2024, Vitalize, our health and wellbeing benefit in partnership with Personify Health, allows members to focus on what matters to them most. Centered on the whole person, members can work on improving their eating and sleeping habits, as well as their physical activity. They can earn up to $200 or $400 a year in Rewards Cash for completing a Health Risk Assessment and by earning reward points through healthy activities.
Vitalize is included with our Qualified Health Plans and the Essential Plan. The spouse/domestic partner benefit is only available with Qualified Health Plans.
Personify Health is a separate company and offers a digital wellbeing service on behalf of Univera Healthcare
- NEW! Primary Care Savings
Members can save on primary care copays with their first three visits not subject to the deductible on Gold Select.
- NEW! Eliminating Diabetic Insulin Copays
According to the American Diabetes Association, people with diabetes have medical expenses that are 2.6 times higher than people who do not have diabetes. To improve access and affordability, we support the NYS mandate to eliminate the cost share, including the deductible, for diabetic insulin.
- NEW! Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
We are committed to lowering the total cost and other barriers to care for our members. Beginning in 2025, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab health services will be covered in full for non-standard Qualified Health Plans (subject to deductible where applicable).
- NEW! $100 Vision Allowance
Members can save on glasses and contacts with our increased $100 vision allowance available with our non-standard Qualified Health Plans.
- NEW! Lower Deductibles and Out-of-pocket Maximum
The single deductible and out-of-pocket maximum have decreased to a maximum of $9,200 on select Qualified Health Plans.
