Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) Letters

Medicare Advantage members with Univera SeniorChoice (HMO-POS) or Univera Medicare PPO (PPO) plans were mailed an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) in September as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Members who receive extra help paying for premiums will receive a separate insert to show the amount of their low-income subsidy.

The ANOC provides details on 2021 benefit changes. All benefits changed will be effective January 1, 2021.

Highlights for 2021:

  • TruHearing, provides routine hearing exams and hearing aids. For 2021, there is a new option for hearing aid rechargeability ($50 additional cost per aid).
  • The Silver&Fit program provides members BOTH membership at a participating fitness center ($25 annual fee) AND up to 2 Home Fitness Kits ($10 annual fee). Fees can be paid directly to Silver&Fit.
  • The Skilled Nursing Facility in-network benefit for days 21-100 is changing from 50% coinsurance to a $184 copayment per day. The copayment is set by Medicare and can change annually. This change lowers the cost for your retirees.
