The Patient Assurance Program was expanded on January 1, 2023, to include certain cardiovascular drugs in a continued commitment to provide affordable medications to members.
The program is intended to counteract escalating costs of diabetic and cardiovascular therapy. Members benefit directly from the program, which is effective immediately at point of sale and ensures the member pays no more than $25 per 30 days for eligible Tier 2 diabetic and cardiovascular drugs.
