According to the World Health Organization, 1.7 billion people globally live with musculoskeletal conditions. Musculoskeletal conditions can cause pain that affects your bones, joints, ligaments, skeletal muscles and tendons.
This engaging virtual workshop will provide members with information on physical activity and movement, causes of musculoskeletal injuries and how to prevent them, ergonomics and more.

July Topic: "The Miracle of Movement"

According to the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, adults need 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity a week (or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity). It is also recommended that adults need at least two days of muscle-strengthening activity each week. This can seem like a lot (especially if you are trying to fit it into an already busy schedule!)
This engaging virtual workshop will provide members with information on the importance of physical activity, recommendations for physical activity throughout stages of life, resistance/strength training basics, how to best build movement into your day, and more.
